Carter-Hoffmann HL1-18 Heated Holding Cabinet

The Carter-Hoffmann HL1-18 has a welded and riveted single wall, non-insulated cabinet construction with a welded base. The cabinet material has an all-aluminum interior and exterior double wall insulated construction with an aluminum exterior.

It has a single panel tempered glass door set in an extruded aluminum frame. It is field reversible. It has a drip trough at the base of the door. It has a high temperature santoprene gasket mounted to the door. The hinges have adjustable edge mount hinges with a chrome plate finish. The heavy-duty edge mount latch has a magnetic catch.

The heating system has a bottom mounted heater with one 1700-watt coiled incoloy-sheathed heated element. It has a high impedance protected fan motor. The blower fan circulates the air. It has a full range thermostat, an on/off switch with a power indicating light. The heat settings have a dial control for adjusting the temperature. It is capable of heating to 190 degrees Fahrenheit. It preheats to 160 degrees Fahrenheit in approximately 30 minutes.
