If you run an Asian style restaurant or sushi bar, and are in need of a new refrigerated display case, we at Jean’s Restaurant Supply have the perfect unit for you. The ESC83L is an elegant, countertop refrigerated display case with a self-contained condensing unit. Your customers will be able to view nigiri, makizushi, gunkan maki, and all of the other beautiful dishes you can make through the curved, glass display window.

The cabinet is constructed using foamed-in-place insulation to make sure any warm air stays out and all the cool air stays in. The large, single piece, clear, curved glass display window offers a wide viewing area from the top to the bottom. The rear sliding glass door will allow you to load and unload food. The front, top, and sides of the exterior are covered with ABS plastic. In the back, there are four 6-3/4″ high, removable, sliding glass doors for convenient cleaning and loading/unloading product. The interior has a stainless-steel floor with rounded edges and two drain holes that lead to a 1/4″ drain pipe in the back. The plastic sanitary trays offer medium to low temperature range application due to its dual placement function. This unit has one small tray and five large trays.

The compressor area has a beautiful black coating of steel. The self-contained condensing unit is located on the left of this unit for easy installation. It uses 1/8 hp and runs on R-290 refrigerant. It uses rear condenser airflow intake, and side louver exhaust. The air filter for the condenser is removable. It has a three loop, nickel plated copper tube evaporator with a lower copper tube evaporator located in the inner layer of the stainless-steel floor to cool down the floor temperature. The temperature control is preset at the factory. If the ambient temperature is 80 degrees Fahrenheit this unit will run at 38 degrees Fahrenheit. There is no control equipped with this unit.
